Laos Typica Washed is an exceptional coffee not only in its flavor clarity and single varietal sorting, but also because of the region's bolstering production and significant potential for expansion. 95% of Laotian coffee is grown in the Bolaven Plateau at the souther tip of Laos. At optimal elevations of 1350 masl and with rich volcanic soil, this region is perfectly positioned to provide high quality Laotian coffee to the market. This boost in production and quality has attracted new and young famers that are partnering with local exporting groups on developing better processing methods to maximize their yields as well as sell more parchment than cherry to supplement their income harvest to harvest.
