Founded by Héctor Daza, the farm became a coffee paradise under a diverse shade canopy. Today, Oscar Daza leads La Pradera with a focus on sustainable, organic farming. The unique microclimate created by the Chicamocha Canyon—with warm days and cool nights—offers ideal conditions for exceptional coffee.
Colo Pradera Natural is produced in the Cordillera Oriental mountains near Bucaramanga at La Pradera Hacienda Cafetera in Aratoca, Santander. Since 1971, four generations of the Daza Bautista family have been dedicated to producing specialty coffee, respecting their land and craft.
La Pradera includes 8 additional farms, a QC lab, and wet and dry mills with state-of-the-art technology. This lot of Colombia Natural process coffee starts with selectively harvested cherries above 20° Brix, followed by 120 hours of anaerobic fermentation, and drying on raised beds for up to 22 days.
